Hi! My name is Laura Bravo-Six. I have been teaching swim lessons for the past 20 years! Hard to believe!!! My background started with lifeguarding and water safety instruction through the Red Cross and developed into at home lessons. I not only teach swim lessons and train my instructors to teach my style of instruction, but I am also an Emergency Room RN. With 17 years of my healthcare background, I have developed a passion for educating the community about water safety and learning to swim. I strongly believe these life saving skills are a top priority to teach our kids to swim in Phoenix Arizona. Most residential areas have private pools in their back yard and can be a danger if the proper barriers are not in place.
Every drowning can be prevented
I created Bravo Swim to offer high quality, private lessons in a comfortable setting at your home pool. This teaches children to safely navigate around your pool at home and eases stress of traveling to and from lessons. I believe that learning to swim is an essential skill and hope to teach as many children as possible.
Teaching swim lessons has become a passion of mine and pride myself on how quickly my swimmers learn to swim independently! I have taught all ages including developmentally delayed children, children with special needs and have adapted my lessons accordingly. Each child will have their own individually customized lesson plans and will be given homework to ensure we meet our swim goals in the most efficient time.
